Shipping costs are free from €149 including VAT for delivery methods other than UPS Access Point. Delivery is free to UPS Access Point from €15 including VAT except for items over 20 Kg, for batteries and items of the Détaupeur brand.
Fixed shipping costs, including order processing, packaging and transport costs, are indicated during the order and are added to the price of the products under the heading "total shipping costs". Additional shipping costs are applied to long and/or bulky products as well as transport tax on lubricants from 5 litres. These additional costs cannot be applied to free shipping with minimum purchase.
Shipping costs for orders placed on Jardin-Affaires.com are valid for metropolitan France.
International Delivery
Regarding countries outside France, transport costs will be applied according to the carrier.
For delivery of a product abroad, the Buyer is the importer of the product concerned.
In this case, customs duties, import duties or any other local taxes may be required by local authorities. These are not within the Company's jurisdiction, they will be at the Buyer's expense and are entirely their responsibility in terms of charges, declarations, or payment. Delivery terms and timeframes
The availability of each product is indicated for information purposes in its corresponding product page on the website: delivery times (from when the package is shipped) vary according to delivery methods from 48 hours to 1-2 weeks.
In the event of product unavailability, the Buyer is immediately notified by email.
In case of delivery delay, by parcel or carrier, the buyer can contact The Company's customer service via our contact form or by phone at 01 85 77 10 43 (No surcharge) to know the delivery times of their parcel. The Company invites the buyer to report any delay of one week compared to the average delivery time in order to allow The Company to start an investigation with the post office or carrier (investigation times can usually vary from one to three weeks). If during the investigation period, the product is found, it will be immediately redirected to the Buyer's home, that is to say the "delivery address" that the buyer indicated during the ordering process. If however the product is not found at the end of the investigation period, the post office/carrier considers the parcel as lost, and The Company will send a replacement product at its expense.
It is reminded that any sales contract, where the delivery of the goods is not immediate, can be terminated by the private consumer buyer in case of exceeding the date or deadline indicated to them, under the conditions of Article L.138-2 of the Consumer Code:
- If, after requesting the seller to make the delivery within a reasonable additional period, the latter has not complied;
- The sale is considered cancelled upon receipt by The Company of the letter or writing informing of this cancellation, unless The Company has fulfilled the order in the meantime;
- However, the consumer may immediately cancel the contract when the Company refuses to deliver the goods or provide the service, or when it fails to fulfill its obligation to deliver the goods or provide the service on the date or at the expiry of the deadline provided for in the first paragraph of Article L. 138-1, and when this date or deadline constitutes an essential condition of the contract for the consumer. This essential condition results from the circumstances surrounding the conclusion of the contract or from an express request by the consumer before the conclusion of the contract.
The availability time given by The Company is estimated and may vary according to production times, carriers, weather conditions or any other unpredictable factor independent of The Company's will.
Depending on the items purchased on the site, orders may be delivered either by postal package or by carrier.
Parcel delivery
Items weighing less than 30kg and meeting certain size and resistance constraints will be sent by TNT. The delivery time with TNT tracking is 48/72h (2 working days). The average time between order processing and actual delivery is on average 5 working days. Products are delivered to the "delivery address" that the buyer indicated during the ordering process. The indicated times are average times and correspond to processing and delivery times for products destined for metropolitan France.
Delivery by carrier
For any delivery by carrier, THE COMPANY reserves the right to contact the buyer for a possible modification of delivery times. In case of disagreement on the delivery time, the sale will be cancelled and the order refunded as soon as possible. The delivery time by carrier may vary depending on the items ordered from 2 to 15 working days from the departure date from THE COMPANY's warehouses. After order validation, THE COMPANY's delivery service will contact the Buyer by phone or email to specify the delivery time.
The Buyer must mention any obstacles to delivery via normal access routes (stairs, elevator, landing doors, clearance for large products, etc.).
The carrier schedules an appointment with the Buyer by phone a few days before the delivery date. For standard free delivery, appointment scheduling is not guaranteed. The delivery time slot is broad: half-day or full day, depending on regions and carriers.
Deliveries by carrier are only made Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm.
It is the Buyer's responsibility to verify prior to ordering, particularly regarding product specifications in terms of size and volume, that these can be transported via access routes to the delivery location.
The inability of the Company's carriers to deliver products on the agreed date, due to the Buyer's absence or lack of information about the need for specific delivery means, may result in additional delivery charges and/or order cancellation by the Company.
For transport to Corsica, French Overseas Departments and Territories, it is necessary to consult THE COMPANY in advance.
The risks of the product are transferred to the Buyer upon delivery or on the date of first presentation of the products by the carriers on the delivery date agreed with them.
Receipt and Claims
The Buyer must, during delivery and in the presence of the delivery person, carry out all necessary examinations to detect any delivery errors, damage, missing items, defects or other apparent defects. The Buyer must particularly check the condition of packaging, number of packages and products in their quantities, references, condition and characteristics before signing the transport note. General mentions such as "Subject to unpacking" are not acceptable by carriers' insurance and goods must be unpacked in the presence of the carrier for inspection.
In case of claims for damage, missing packages or product non-conformity, the Buyer must contact the Company by email or phone immediately and no later than 48 hours after delivery.

The Buyer must:
Write precise and justified reservations on the transport note in case of damage or missing items, general reservations such as "subject to unpacking" being insufficient.
Please note, indicating mentions such as "boxes received in good condition" or "packaging in good condition" deprives the Buyer of any possibility of recourse
Send their complaint to The Company as soon as possible, by mail or email, accompanied if possible by photos proving the damage observed.
The Buyer must also be able to provide any justification, particularly photos of the observed damage, regarding the reality of the claims made and allow the Company, its carriers, or any person authorized by them, every facility to proceed with their verification, the Buyer must refrain from intervening or having a third party intervene for this purpose.
Accepted claims will result in the exchange of the defective or non-compliant product, or its full refund in case of product unavailability in stock or from suppliers. The returned product must be handed over to The Company's carriers in perfect condition, in its original packaging and with all its accessories. No spontaneous return, without The Company's agreement, will be accepted.
