Shipping costs

Shipping costs are free from 149€ of purchase including tax only to France.

Concerning countries outside France, transport costs will be applied depending on the carrier.

Flat rate shipping costs, including order processing, packaging and transport costs, are indicated when ordering and are added to the price of the products under the heading "total shipping costs". Additional shipping costs are applied to long and/or bulky products. as well as the transport tax on lubricants from 5 liters . These additional charges cannot be applied to free shipping with minimum purchase.

Transport costs for orders placed on Jardin-Affaires are valid for mainland France.

In the event of delivery of a product abroad, the Buyer is the importer of the product concerned.

In this case, customs duties, import duties or any other local tax may be payable by the local authorities. These do not fall within the jurisdiction of the Company, they will be the responsibility of the Buyer and are their entire responsibility both in terms of charges, declarations or payment. The Company advises the Buyer to inquire about these aspects with the local authorities.

Delivery terms and times

The availability of each product is indicated as an indication in its corresponding sheet on the site: delivery times (from the moment the package leaves) vary depending on the delivery methods from 48 hours to 1 to 2 weeks.

In the event of product unavailability, the Buyer is immediately notified by e-mail.

In the event of late delivery, by parcel or by carrier, the buyer can contact the Company's customer service via our contact form or by telephone on 01 85 77 10 43 (non-premium rate call) to find out the delivery times of his package. The Company invites the buyer to notify it of any delay of one week compared to the average delivery time observed in order to allow the Company to start an investigation with the post office or the carrier (investigation times can usually vary from one to three weeks). If during the investigation period, the product is found, it will be redirected immediately to the Buyer's home, that is to say the "delivery address" that the buyer indicated during the process of order. If, on the other hand, the product is not found at the end of the investigation period, the post office/carrier considers the package as lost, and the Company will return a replacement product, at its expense.

It is recalled that any sales contract, in which delivery of the goods is not immediate, may be terminated by the individual consumer buyer in the event of exceeding the date or time limit indicated to him, under the conditions of the Article L.138-2 of the Consumer Code:

  • If, after having ordered the seller to make delivery within a reasonable additional period, the latter has not complied;
  • The sale is considered canceled upon receipt by The Company of the letter or writing informing it of this cancellation, unless The Company has complied in the meantime;
  • However, the consumer may immediately cancel the contract when the Company refuses to deliver the goods or provide the service or when it does not fulfill its obligation to deliver the goods or provide the service on the date or expiry of the contract. period provided for in the first paragraph of the same article L. 138-1 and that this date or this period constitutes for the consumer an essential condition of the contract. This essential condition results from the circumstances surrounding the conclusion of the contract or from an express request from the consumer before the conclusion of the contract.

The availability time given by the Company is estimated and may vary depending on production times, carriers, weather conditions or any other imponderable beyond the control of the Company.

Depending on the items purchased on the site, orders may be delivered either by postal parcel or by carrier.

Delivery by parcel

Items weighing less than 30kg and respecting certain size and resistance constraints will be sent by TNT. The delivery time in tracked TNT is 48/72 hours (2 working days). The average time between order processing and actual delivery is on average 5 working days. The products are delivered to the “delivery address” that the buyer indicated during the ordering process. The times indicated are average times and correspond to processing and delivery times for products destined for mainland France.

Delivery by carrier

For any delivery by carrier, THE COMPANY reserves the right to contact the buyer again for a possible modification of delivery times. In the event of disagreement on the delivery time, the sale will be canceled and the order refunded as soon as possible. The delivery time by carrier may vary depending on the items ordered from 2 to 15 working days from the date of departure from THE COMPANY's warehouses. After validation of the order, THE COMPANY's delivery service will contact the Buyer by telephone or email to specify the delivery time.

The Buyer must mention the obstacles to delivery by normal access routes (stairs, elevator, landing doors, setbacks for large products, etc.).

The carrier makes an appointment with the Buyer a few days before the delivery date by telephone. For free standard delivery, appointments are not guaranteed. The delivery window is wide: per half-day or day, depending on the regions and carriers.

Deliveries by carrier are only made Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

It is up to the Buyer to check before ordering, in particular with regard to the specifications of the products in terms of size and volume, that they can be transported by the access routes to the place of delivery.

The impossibility for the Company's carriers to deliver the products on the agreed date, in the event of the Buyer's absence or lack of information on the need to use specific means of delivery, may give rise to payment. additional delivery costs and/or cancellation of the order by the Company.

For transport to Corsica, DOM TOM and Overseas, it is necessary to consult THE COMPANY in advance.

The risks of the product are transferred to the Buyer upon delivery or on the date of the first presentation of the products by the carriers on the delivery date agreed with them.

Reception and complaints

The Buyer must carry out, upon delivery and in the presence of the delivery person, all necessary examinations to detect possible delivery errors, damage, missing items, defects or other apparent defects. The Buyer must in particular check the condition of the packaging, the number of packages and the products in their quantities, their references, their condition and their characteristics before signing the transport slip. General notices such as "Subject to unpacking" are not admissible by carrier insurance and the goods must be unpacked in the presence of the carrier for inspection.

In the event of a claim for damage, missing package or non-conformity of the product, the Buyer must contact the Company by email or telephone immediately and at the latest within 48 hours following delivery.

The Buyer must:

Include on the transport voucher precise and justified reservations in the event of damage or missing items, general reservations such as “subject to unpacking” being insufficient;

Please note, the indication of mentions such as “boxes received in good condition” or “packaging in good condition” deprive the Buyer of any possibility of recourse;

Send your complaint to the Company as soon as possible, by post or email, accompanied if possible by photos proving the damage noted.

The Buyer must also be able to provide any justification, in particular photos of the damage noted, as to the reality of the claims invoked and leave to the Company, its carriers or any person mandated by them, all facility to carry out their observation, the Buyer must refrain from intervening or involving a third party for this purpose.

Accepted complaints will result in the exchange of the defective or non-compliant product, or a full refund in the event of unavailability of the product in stock or from suppliers. The returned product must be delivered to the Company's carriers in perfect condition, in its original packaging and provided with all its accessories. No spontaneous returns, without agreement from the Company, will be accepted.
