French tool excellence for precision gardening
Staub, a French brand
The brand with 117 years of history
Founded in 1906 by Joseph Staub in Sartrouville, the Staub brand started in a modest workshop before specializing in the manufacture of rotary tillers. In 1924, Staub distinguished itself with the invention of a gearbox for motorcycles, and in 1938, the company launched its first rotary tiller, the PP3, marking a turning point for the company. After World War II, Staub expanded its range with more powerful models and introduced the convertible rotary tiller in 1957. In 1967, production was relocated to Champagné. Following several ownership changes, Staub was acquired by the Emak group in 2003 and continues to innovate from its headquarters in Rixheim, Alsace. Today, Staub offers an extensive range of gardening equipment, including lawnmowers and brush cutters, while maintaining a network of over 300 dealers in France.
