To be sure of the correct length of the 5L (or 5H) type belt, you need to measure the length of the inside of the belt (or the passage over the pulleys) and divide this length by 1 inch or 2.54 then add 3. Example: The inner measurement of my belt is 104.14mm. I divide 104.14/2.54 which is 41, so my belt will be a 5H440 (5H because it has a 15.87mm back and 440 because it corresponds to 41+3)
