To be sure of the correct length of the 3L (or 3H) type belt, you need to measure the length of the inside of the belt (or the passage over the pulleys) and divide this length by 1 inch or 2.54 then add 1. Example: The inside measurement of my belt is 104.14mm. I divide 104.14/2.54 which is 41, so my belt will be a 3H420 (3H because it has a 9.5mm back and 420 because it corresponds to 41+1)
