MaxPower Premium Kevlar® V-belts are reinforced with DuPont™ Kevlar® fiber. The cords integrated into the mass of the belt make KEVLAR Maxpower belts ideal for heavy-duty use and severe work cycles. Our belts feature a drier fabric coating to increase flexibility and withstand severe clutch action, bending or twisting. They can also support heavy loads and return applications for PTO clutch or turbine. These belts are also particularly resistant to the heat generated by gardening machines during use. They are individually packaged for better storage and are available in widths of 3/8" (9.5mm), 1/2" (12.7mm) and 5/8" (15.87mm).
To be sure of the correct length of the 4L (or 4H) type belt, measure the length of the inside of the belt (or the passage over the pulleys) and divide this length by 1 inch or 2.54 then add 2. Example: The inside measurement of my belt is 104.14mm. I divide 104.14/2.54 which is 41, so my belt will be a 4H430 (4H because it has a 12.7mm back and 430 because it corresponds to 41+2)
