With the TEXAS FRZ5800, you get a genuine battery-powered garden tiller that operates with a single 58V battery. Resembling a petrol model in appearance and working width, this cultivator is highly effective for tilling soil in large flower beds or smaller vegetable gardens. Enjoy the benefits of battery power, including easy handling, reduced vibrations, minimal maintenance, multiple blade speeds and a convenient reverse gear.
The battery-powered tiller can adjust its working width by adding or removing blade sets, offering a range of 60 cm, 40 cm or as narrow as 28 cm. With a working depth of up to 26 cm, the FRZ5800 allows for thorough soil cultivation, whether on wide or narrow plots.

Product Details
The FRZ5800 is a powerful battery-operated tiller featuring an 800W brushless motor, requiring only one battery to start working quickly. Weighing 27.5 kg, it is lighter than most equivalent petrol models, making it easier to use and manoeuvre, even if you need extra help with handling.
At its maximum width, this battery-powered tiller drives 24 blades spread across six blade sets, with two forward speeds of 100 and 130 rpm, allowing you to adjust the speed according to your task, whether tilling or using one of the many accessory options.
Additionally, the FRZ5800 features a convenient reverse gear, allowing you to back up effortlessly instead of dragging the tiller if it gets stuck. It also has wide guards, ensuring that even at the widest setting, the blades remain covered.
The FRZ5800 includes a combination of depth skids and transport wheels, which can be flipped depending on whether you're tilling or transporting the machine. The sturdy rear-facing transport wheels allow you to easily fold down the fixed handlebar and roll the tiller effortlessly.

58V Battery Series
The FRZ5800 operates at a high performance level and it is recommended to have two 58V 4.0/5.0Ah batteries, providing approximately 45 to 50 minutes of runtime, depending on soil conditions, with a working width of 40 or 60 cm.
The FRZ5800 can accommodate two batteries. One battery actively powers the machine, while the other slot is for storage, allowing you to quickly swap batteries and resume work as soon as the first battery is depleted.

There are two different 58V batteries, both equipped with lithium cells – a 4.0Ah model and a 5.0Ah model, as well as a fast charger capable of fully charging a battery in 120 or 150 minutes, respectively. Please note that TEXAS 58V batteries are exclusively compatible with machines from our 58V battery series.

5 tips for tilling
1 | Ensure the soil is not too wet when tilling, as this would only create large clumps of earth.
2 | Till the soil sufficiently, but not excessively. Soil clumps should be about the size of a walnut and at least the size of a pea, providing ideal porosity for plants.
3 | You can till in dry and hard soil, but this may require going over the soil twice.
4 | Check the weather forecast; if frost is expected, wait before tilling.
5 | Use safety equipment, as a rotavator is a powerful machine and in case of an accident, it's better to be properly protected.
