Description
The TEXAS TX611TG petrol tiller is a very powerful rotavator with reverse gear, designed to withstand several hours of work when tilling the soil, even in the largest vegetable gardens. The reverse gear is part of the unique double shaft system, where two shafts extend from the engine, providing a dedicated reverse that is more robust and causes less gear wear compared to single shaft rotavators.
The TX611TG offers three different working widths: with only the inner blades installed, the width is 30 cm; with additional blade sets, it reaches 55 cm, and with all blade sets, it extends up to 85 cm. This flexibility allows you to manoeuvre in tight spaces and cover large areas. With a working depth of up to 33 cm, this powerful petrol tiller is one of TEXAS's flagship models, capable of penetrating deep into the soil.

The TX611TG is equipped with a 212 cc engine, offering powerful performance and two speeds - one forward and one reverse - making it easy to manoeuvre. The TX series operates at 110 rpm, which is less than the Lilli series, offering a smoother workflow that improves control during operation.
Built on a robust chassis, this sturdy machine weighs 56.5 kg, providing excellent stability when in use. The reverse gear further improves manoeuvrability, allowing you to free the tiller if it sinks into the soil. Additionally, the TX611TG includes wide guards ensuring that the blades remain covered, even at half-width.
The rotavator is equipped with both depth skids and transport wheels, which can be easily adjusted via a pedal when raising or lowering. The sturdy rear-mounted transport wheels make it easy to move the tiller by tilting the fixed handlebar.
The handlebar includes ergonomic grips for a comfortable experience when using the tiller. With the integrated throttle control and forward-reverse functions, the tiller is easy to use. The TX611TG is also equipped with a bumper, which also serves as a lifting handle for convenience.

TEXAS recommends using 98/100 unleaded petrol (also called E5) for all our petrol engines, even if the manual specifies 95 unleaded petrol (E10).
This recommendation is due to changes since 1st January 2020, when 95 unleaded petrol (E10) started containing 10% bioethanol instead of the previous 5%. The increased bioethanol content attracts condensation/water over time and shortens the fuel's shelf life, which can lead to poorer combustion and starting problems.
5 tips for tilling
1 | Ensure the soil is not too wet when tilling, as this would only create large clumps of earth.
2 | Till the soil sufficiently, but not too much. The clumps of earth should be about the size of a walnut and at least the size of a pea, providing ideal porosity for plants.
3 | You can till in dry and hard soil, but this may require going over the soil twice.
4 | Check the weather forecast; if frost is expected, wait before tilling.
5 | Use safety equipment, as a rotavator is a powerful machine and in case of an accident, it's better to be properly protected.
