Description
The TEXAS FRX2020 is a robust battery-powered rotavator, powered by two 20V batteries. This battery tiller is ideal for large soil beds, herb gardens or small vegetable plots, and in terms of both appearance and working width, it resembles a petrol tiller.
The FRX2020 is equipped with an 800W brushless motor, driving 16 blades with a working depth of up to 26 cm and a working width of 40 cm. This allows you to cover a wide area and dig deep into the soil to effectively mix nutrients. Weighing 25 kg, it is lighter than comparable petrol rotavators and, as a battery-powered tiller, offers easy maintenance and operation. Simply insert two batteries and you're ready to start working.

Product details
The tiller has two forward speeds at 100 and 130 rpm, allowing you to adjust the speed according to the task, whether ploughing or using one of the various accessory options. Additionally, the FRX2020 includes a convenient reverse gear, allowing you to back up effortlessly rather than dragging the machine if it gets stuck.
The FRX2020 also comes with a combined depth skid and transport wheels that can be switched depending on whether you're tilling or transporting the rotavator. The transport wheels are solid and rear-facing, allowing you to easily lower the fixed handlebar and roll the tiller.
With the FRX2020, you get a user-friendly battery-powered tiller requiring minimal maintenance. This makes manual soil turning a thing of the past, allowing you to enjoy gardening with this quiet battery-powered tiller, while providing optimal growing conditions for your plants.
20V Battery Series
Using two 4.0Ah or 5.0Ah batteries, the FRX2020 offers an active working time of about 20 to 25 minutes, although this may vary depending on conditions and battery age.
Two 20V batteries are required for full power. It supports 2.0Ah, 4.0Ah or 5.0Ah batteries. Due to the high performance and power consumption of the machine, we recommend a minimum of 4.0Ah batteries. Although two 20V batteries of different capacities can be used, such as one 2.0Ah and one 4.0Ah, the machine will stop once one battery is discharged. The machine cannot operate if one battery is removed or nearly depleted.

There are three different 20V batteries, all equipped with lithium cells: a 2.0Ah battery, a 4.0Ah battery and a 5.0Ah battery, as well as a fast charger and a dual fast charger that can fully charge one or two batteries in 60, 120 or 150 minutes, respectively. Note that TEXAS 20V batteries can only be used with machines from our 20V battery series.

5 tips for ploughing
1 | Ensure the soil is not too wet when ploughing, as this would only create large clumps of earth.
2 | Plough the soil sufficiently, but not too much. The clumps of earth should be about the size of a walnut and at least the size of a pea, providing ideal porosity for plants.
3 | You can plough in dry and hard soil, but this may require going over the soil twice.
4 | Check the weather forecast; if frost is expected, wait before ploughing.
5 | Use safety equipment, as a tiller is a powerful machine and in case of an accident, it's better to be properly protected.
