If you have moss in your lawn, the TEXAS MPX2000 battery-powered dethatcher and scarifier can effectively help you. With the moss roller of this smart 2-in-1 moss eliminator, the springs lift the moss from the surface, while the blade roller cuts deeper to aerate the grass.
The MPX2000 offers a five-step adjustable working depth at -12 mm, -9 mm, -6 mm, -3 mm and 6 mm, allowing you to either work on the surface or treat the lawn in depth. It also offers an effective working width of 36 cm and with a weight of only 10.6 kg (excluding batteries), it is easy to handle. Batteries from other tools in the TEXAS 20V battery series are compatible with this high-performance 2-in-1 battery-powered lawn dethatcher and scarifier.

Product details
The MPX2000 is equipped with a powerful 650W brushless motor, providing sufficient power and long operating hours. The motor drives either the blade roller or the moss roller, which can be easily switched depending on whether you want to scarify or remove moss. The two rollers have 16 blades or 24 springs respectively, effectively aerating your lawn or removing moss.
In addition, the MPX2000 includes a handy 50-litre collection bag, making it easy to collect moss as you work. You can also use it without the collection bag, using the rear ejection option to collect the moss after finishing the entire lawn.
The MPX2000 is designed with user-friendliness and comfort in mind, requiring only a simple button press and handle activation to start. Its ergonomic handlebar improves comfort of use and can be folded in three parts for compact storage.
If you have a small lawn or just mossy areas, the MPX2000 is well-suited to provide a lush and healthy lawn.
20V Battery Series
The MPX2000 can run for about 25 to 30 minutes with two 4.0Ah batteries. Runtime may vary depending on conditions and battery age.
Two 20V batteries are required for full power operation, with compatibility for 2.0Ah, 4.0Ah or 5.0Ah batteries. A minimum of 4.0Ah batteries is recommended for optimal performance.
You can use two 20V batteries of different capacities, such as one 2.0Ah and one 4.0Ah, but the machine will stop when one battery is depleted. The machine will not operate if one battery is removed or nearly discharged.

There are three different 20V batteries, all equipped with lithium cells: a 2.0Ah battery, a 4.0Ah battery and a 5.0Ah battery, as well as a fast charger and a dual fast charger that can fully charge one or two batteries in 60, 120 or 150 minutes respectively. Note that TEXAS 20V batteries can only be used with machines from our 20V battery series.

5 tips for using a dethatcher
1 | Only use the machine in early spring and autumn when the soil is moist and soft. Do not use the moss remover on dry and hard soil.
2 | Start with the lowest blade depth and adjust if necessary.
3 | For optimal performance, ensure both batteries are fully charged before starting.
4 | Operate the machine lengthwise and crosswise on the lawn for best results.
5 | If using the collection bag, remember to empty it frequently.
