Quiet and user-friendly robot
lawnmower for large lawns up to 2,000 m², equipped with an ultrasonic sensor, app control and numerous smart features.
Description
The TEXAS TMX2000 is an efficient
robot lawnmower for large lawns up to 2,000 m² (maximum 2,200 m²), using mulching, handling slopes up to 24° (45%) and operating at a noise level below 57 dB. You can set up to four starting points to ensure smooth cutting in smaller areas, such as front and back yards, while the ultrasonic sensor prevents the mower from hitting obstacles.
This robot mower comes with a multilingual app where you can set the mowing schedule, starting points and view the map of your garden created by the mower. Once connected to your Wi-Fi, you can always access and adjust settings from the app. Easy to install and clean with a garden hose, the TMX2000 lets you enjoy a well-mowed lawn with minimal effort.
The TMX series builds on the success of the RMX series with a new design, improved hardware and a more advanced LCD screen on the mower itself if you prefer not to use the app.
Customise your robot mower in the app
The TMX2000 includes a smart multilingual app for your phone, giving you complete control over your robot mower. In the app, you can set the daily mowing schedule (two time slots), configure starting points for Multi Zone, schedule edge cutting, view the mowing log and install software updates to improve performance or resolve issues.
After approximately 14 days, the TMX2000 creates a map of your lawn in the app, making it easier to set starting points for the Multi Zone function.
Once connected to Wi-Fi, you can always access your mower via the TEXAS app. If your Wi-Fi doesn't reach the garden, you can connect via Bluetooth, but you need to be within a few metres of the mower. You can also use the improved LCD screen on the mower itself if you prefer not to connect via the app.
Sensors and software enhance mowing
The robot mower operates within the boundary wire and its software ensures it never follows the same path, avoiding tracks on the lawn. Thanks to edge cutting, it can follow the boundary wire, cutting as far as possible, and the TMX2000 can also navigate through passages as narrow as 80 cm.
At the front, the TMX2000 has an ultrasonic sensor that can be set to detect obstacles at three different distances, approximately 15 cm in height, redirecting the mower before it reaches the obstacle. Additional practical sensors also assist during mowing.
The obstacle sensor detects contact with objects at a minimum distance of 10 cm and sends the mower in a different direction. The tilt sensor redirects it if the lawn becomes too steep and if it tips unexpectedly, this is logged and displayed in the app.
The lift sensor automatically stops the blades if the mower is lifted, reducing the risk of injury. Thanks to the rain sensor, you can choose to send the mower back to the charging station to wait for dry weather before resuming, providing a cleaner cut.
Efficient mowing
The TMX2000 has a cutting diameter of 22 cm, using three razor-sharp pivoting blades that mulch the grass at a rotation speed of 2,300 rpm. The height adjustment dial lets you choose from nine cutting heights, ranging from 20 mm to 60 mm, and it operates at a guaranteed noise level not exceeding 57 dB, making it almost silent.
The three pivoting blades are mounted on a spring-suspended
blade disc that automatically adapts to the terrain, ensuring an even cut and reducing the risk of stalling on uneven ground or bumps.
Depending on the lawn setup, the mower has an active cutting time of 2 to 2.5 hours before returning to the charging station for a full recharge, which takes about 2 hours. For lawns close to 2000 m², it is recommended to set it to mow for several hours in both daily time slots.
Discreet charging station and easy cleaning
The TMX2000 charging dock can be placed discreetly in a corner of the lawn, keeping it out of sight. This charging station also includes 'Super-Link', which extends your Wi-Fi signal to the mower, ensuring continuous connectivity via the app even from a distance.
Once docked, the mower enters 'Eco mode', cutting power to the boundary wire and reducing energy consumption. The power supply charges at 76 W and 3 A, with an estimated annual electricity cost between 50 and 150 DKK, depending on usage and electricity prices.
The mower is rated IPX5 for water resistance, making it easy to clean with a garden hose. Although it can operate in rainy conditions, for best results, we recommend mowing in dry weather.
The TMX2000 features a UV-resistant plastic cutting screen to prevent discolouration from sunlight. The two rear wheels have three rows of tread for increased traction, preventing wheel spin and stalling on soft or wet grass.
The front LED light indicates if the mower is actively mowing, returning to the station, charging or experiencing problems, enabling quick responses if assistance is occasionally needed. The mower is secured by an individual PIN code, making it unusable if stolen, as it's not accessible or usable outside its boundary wire.
Robot mower testing
Before launching our RMX range of robotic lawnmowers in 2022, we conducted an extensive testing phase in 2021 to optimise and improve the mowers for real-world use.
We invited a large number of testers from across Denmark with different types of gardens, sizes and lawns. From the applicants, we selected 46 testers from different types of gardens who tested the RMX500 model throughout the 2021 season.
While the mower worked on their lawn, testers provided ongoing feedback about what worked well and what could be improved. At the end of the season, 86% of testers said the robot mower met their expectations and they would recommend it to others.
All feedback helped us refine the manual and improve future models, resulting in today's improved and thoroughly tested robotic
lawnmower that delivers a perfectly maintained lawn.
Included accessories
Charging station, power supply, 250 m boundary wire, 320 pegs, 9 pivoting blades, and a detailed installation and user manual.
TEXAS recommends
Grass trimmer for all grass edges
If the boundary wire isn't placed right next to the paving, there may be a narrow strip of grass along the lawn edge, which can be quickly cut with a simple grass trimmer. You might also want to explore our 20 V battery series, where you can use the handy GTX2000 grass trimmer and share the battery with other garden machines.
