Mow your lawn with an efficient TEXAS robot lawn mower that handles lawns up to approximately 600 m², operates quietly, is easy to install and accessible via an app. Description The TEXAS TMX600 robot lawn mower is ideal for medium to large lawns, equipped with all the features you need and capable of managing lawns up to about 600 m² (maximum 700 m²). With the Multi Zone function, you can select up to four starting points for the mower, ensuring it mows even small areas in the front and back yard. It also navigates passages as narrow as 80 cm and can handle slopes up to 24° (45%). Connect the TMX600 to your Wi-Fi for easy setup via a multilingual app, allowing you to adjust starting points, edge cutting, and schedule mowing days and times. This very quiet mower (maximum 58 dB) uses mulching and is easily cleaned with a garden hose. Setup is simple and user-friendly. The TMX600 is an upgraded version of the popular RMX600, featuring improved hardware, a larger 20 cm cutting width, a more advanced LCD display on the mower body, and a redesigned cutting shield. Together, these improvements help you achieve a well-maintained lawn with minimal effort and disruption. Customise your robot mower in the app The TMX600 includes a smart multilingual app for complete control of your robot mower. In the app, you can set daily mowing times (one time slot), configure multi-zone starting points, schedule edge cutting, view the mowing log, and install software updates to improve performance or resolve issues. Once connected to Wi-Fi, you can always access your mower via the TEXAS app. If your Wi-Fi doesn't reach the garden, you can also connect via Bluetooth within a few metres of the mower, or use the mower's improved LCD screen if you prefer not to use the app. Sensors and software enhance mowing The mower operates within the perimeter wire, and its software ensures it takes varied routes, avoiding tracks on the grass. The Edge Trim function allows it to follow the perimeter wire closely, mowing as far as possible and navigating passages as narrow as 80 cm. The TMX600 has several useful sensors for optimal operation. The obstacle sensor detects contact with objects at least 10 cm high, redirecting the mower. The tilt sensor also redirects the mower if it encounters a steep slope. If the mower unexpectedly tips over, this is also detected and displayed in the app. The lift sensor automatically stops the blades if the mower is lifted, reducing the risk of injury. The rain sensor allows you to send the mower back to its charging station in wet weather, ensuring a cleaner cut when conditions are dry. Efficient mowing With a 20 cm cutting diameter, the TMX600 mows with three razor-sharp pivoting blades rotating at 2,500 rpm, using mulching to nourish the lawn. The height adjustment dial offers nine cutting heights from 20 mm to 60 mm and operates at a maximum of 58 dB, making it quiet enough that you can hardly notice it. The three pivoting blades are mounted on a spring-suspended blade disc that adapts to the ground surface, automatically adjusting on uneven terrain for an even cut and minimising the risk of stalling. Depending on your lawn shape, the mower has an active mowing time of 60 to 90 minutes before returning to the charging station, where it fully recharges in about two hours. For lawns close to 600 m², you can set it to mow for several hours during a single daily time slot. Concealable charging station and easy cleaning The TMX600 charging dock can be placed in a corner of the lawn for discreet installation. In the charging station, the mower enters "Eco mode" – turning off the perimeter wire and reducing energy consumption. With a power supply of 28 W, 1.1 A, the annual electricity cost varies from £2 to £8, depending on usage and electricity prices. You can easily clean the mower with a garden hose, as it's rated IPX5 for water resistance, allowing it to operate even in rainy conditions. However, for best results, we recommend mowing in dry weather. The TMX600 also features a UV-resistant plastic cutting shield to maintain its colour in sunlight, and the rear drive wheels have a high-traction design to prevent wheel spin and stalling on loose soil. The robot mower includes a unique PIN code for security reasons, making it unusable if stolen as it won't work outside its perimeter wire. Robot mower test Before launching our RMX range of robotic lawn mowers in 2022, we conducted an extensive testing phase in 2021 to optimise and improve the mowers for real-world use. We invited a large number of testers from all over Denmark with different types of gardens, sizes, and lawns. From the applicants, we selected 46 testers from various garden types who tested the RMX500 model throughout the 2021 season. While the mower worked on their lawn, testers provided ongoing feedback on what worked well and what could be improved. At the end of the season, 86% of testers said the robot mower met their expectations and they would recommend it to others. All feedback helped us refine the manual and improve future models, resulting in today's improved and thoroughly tested robotic lawn mower that delivers a perfectly maintained lawn. Included accessories Charging station, power supply, 130 m perimeter wire, 180 pegs, nine pivoting blades, and a detailed installation and user manual. TEXAS recommends Grass trimmer for all grass edges If the perimeter wire isn't placed right next to the paving, there may be a narrow strip of grass along the lawn edge, which can be quickly cut with a simple grass trimmer.
