The TTS98 is a highly maneuverable model from the new TEXAS lawn tractor range, featuring 5 forward speeds so you can find the right pace and a convenient reverse gear. This durable lawn tractor comes standard with side discharge, but you can insert the included mulching plug to switch to mulching. Additionally, it comes with a tow hook, allowing you to attach other accessories, enabling you to use this lawn tractor for various tasks for many years.
How it mows
The TEXAS TTS98 lawn tractor is suitable for regular garden mowing for greater comfort and is particularly effective on large properties. The powerful engine delivers a solid 7.5 kW output, giving you enough power to effectively tackle even tall grass on large areas.
Thanks to central height adjustment, you can choose from 7 cutting heights, ranging from 30 mm for a well-maintained residential lawn to 90 mm for tall grass on recreational grounds. The dual blades placed under the sturdy 98 cm steel cutting deck provide a cleaner cut than a single blade, and thanks to the electromagnetic blade engagement, you get better control and reduced engine wear.
The TTS98 comes standard with side discharge, ideal for handling tall grass. The included mulching plug enables mulching, which is particularly beneficial for decorative lawns that are frequently mowed and kept short. The TTS98 also has the luxurious functionality of allowing you to mow in reverse.
Practical details
The TTS98 features a manual 5-speed gearbox, allowing you to easily adjust the speed up to 8.8 km/h according to your needs, as well as reverse gear. With an internal turning radius of just 45 cm, it's also an exceptionally maneuverable lawn tractor.
The front wheels measure 15", and the rear wheels 18". All four wheels are air-filled rubber tires with wide tread, providing excellent grip while their wide profile ensures smoothness on the lawn.
The integrated washing nozzle on the cutting deck makes cleaning simple: just connect a garden hose and start the engine. The blades will clean most grass residue from the cutting deck after mowing.
A practical front bumper protects against damage and the TTS98 is equipped with LED headlights so you can see where you're going if working in low light conditions. The electronic key start allows for quick and easy starting.
Long-term usability
The TTS98 is a durable lawn tractor designed for years of mowing and other tasks. It includes a mulching plug and tow hook, and TEXAS offers a range of practical accessories, allowing you to scarify, rake, spread salt or seeds, pull a small dump cart or remove moss, making your lawn tractor even more useful.
It also includes user-friendly features that make work much more comfortable. The adjustable high-back driver's seat increases comfort during long rides, with all control levers within easy reach from the seat.
There are also two practical compartments on either side of the seat: an integrated cup holder and a storage compartment for keys, phone or snacks. With a large 7.5 L fuel tank, you can stay seated for long periods before needing to refuel.

The garden tractor comes in a wooden protective frame that needs to be detached and the top part lifted over the machine. Due to the weight and size of the frame, we recommend this be done by two people.
The seat has a safety adjustment that requires a minimum weight of 60 kg to activate and allow the lawn tractor to operate.
