Description
The TEXAS ZT series represents the latest generation of front-wheel pivot lawn mowers - Zero Turn models. This series offers powerful engines, numerous features and excellent manoeuvrability, allowing you to easily navigate around trees, flower beds and other obstacles without having to twist the handlebar.
The ZT 512TR/W is equipped with TEXAS's most powerful engine, the 196 cc TG670V, which provides ample power.
With three wheels, including a pivoting front wheel, this mower is exceptionally easy to manoeuvre. You can turn on the spot and easily navigate around obstacles, while the ZT 512TR/W's pivoting front wheel can also be locked for greater stability when mowing in a straight line.
The ZT 512TR/W's extra-wide rear wheels further improve stability, and thanks to self-propulsion on the rear wheels, navigating on the lawn and manoeuvring in corners and edges is effortless.
The cutting deck is made of steel, ensuring durability and resistance to stone impacts. Weighing 39 kg, the ZT 512TR/W remains stable and easy to control.
How it mows
The ZT 512TR/W offers a 4-in-1 function, providing all the options you need to mow your lawn. With rear discharge or side discharge, the mower ejects cut grass behind or to the right. Mulching finely cuts the grass, leaving it on the lawn as natural fertiliser, and the collection bag keeps your lawn tidy without leaving clippings.
The large 65-litre collection bag efficiently collects grass, allowing for extended mowing before needing to be emptied. The collector box also features a smart indicator that shows when it's full.
The centralised height adjustment allows for easy adjustment of the cutting height thanks to the large handle located near one of the rear wheels. You can choose from six levels between 30 and 80 mm, allowing for a very short cut or a longer finish if desired.
With a cutting width of 51 cm, the ZT 512TR/W covers a wide area of the lawn with each pass, making it suitable for lawns up to 600 m².
Product details
The ZT 512TR/W's handlebar is ergonomically designed and height-adjustable, allowing you to find the most comfortable working position, and the foam grip adds extra comfort. It starts with a pull cord while holding down the start lever - activate the second lever to engage self-propulsion, making forward movement easier.
The throttle lever on the handlebar allows you to adjust the engine speed and blade rotation, and the choke on the opposite side makes starting the engine easier. For added convenience, there's even a cup holder so you can enjoy a refreshment while mowing.
The ZT 512TR/W is also equipped with ball bearings on all wheels, ensuring smooth movement.
Thanks to the built-in water nozzle on the ZT 512TR/W, cleaning is simple: just connect a garden hose and start the engine. The blade then cleans the cutting deck of most grass clippings.

TEXAS recommends using 98/100 unleaded petrol (also called E5) for all our petrol engines, even if the manual specifies 95 unleaded petrol (E10).
This recommendation is due to changes since 1st January 2020, when 95 unleaded petrol (E10) started to contain 10% bioethanol instead of the previous 5%. The increased bioethanol content attracts condensation/water over time and shortens the fuel's shelf life, which can lead to poorer combustion and starting problems.
