Description
The TEXAS WLA series is a new range of lawn mowers built with an exceptionally strong aluminium deck that offers a longer lifespan than a standard steel deck, as it won't rust. On the WLA 5391TR/W, you get Honda's newest and most powerful lawn mower engine: the 201cc GCV200, considered 'top-of-the-line' in small engines.
This engine provides enough power to turn the large blade under the deck, making it one of the widest mowers in the TEXAS range.
Despite weighing 41 kg, the WLA 5391TR/W is very stable thanks to its extremely large 12" rear wheels, the largest available. The self-propelled wheels make manoeuvring on the lawn easy.
How it mows
The WLA 5391TR/W features a 4-in-1 function, offering all the options you need when mowing. With rear or side discharge, the mower ejects cut grass behind or to the right. Mulching finely cuts the grass, leaving it on the lawn as natural fertiliser, and the collection bag keeps the lawn tidy without leaving clippings.
The large 65-litre collection bag included efficiently collects grass, allowing you to mow for long periods before needing to empty it. The collection box also has a smart indicator showing when it's full.
The central height adjustment, near one of the rear wheels, offers more options than most mowers, letting you choose from eight levels between 15 and 80 mm. Few mowers cut grass shorter than the WLA 5391TR/W, but you can also leave your lawn longer if desired.
With a substantial 53 cm cutting width, the WLA 5391TR/W covers a wide area of lawn with each pass, making it capable of handling lawns up to 600 m².
Product Details
The WLA 5391TR/W starts easily with the pull cord while holding down the start lever – engage the second lever to activate self-propulsion, making forward movement easier. The handlebar is ergonomic and height-adjustable, allowing you to find the most comfortable working position, and the foam grip provides extra comfort.
On the handlebar, you'll also find the throttle lever to control engine speed and blade rotation. Additionally, the WLA 5391TR/W features ball bearings on all four wheels and a convenient lifting handle at the front, making it easy to move.
Thanks to the built-in water nozzle on the WLA 5391TR/W, cleaning is simple: just connect a garden hose and start the engine. The blade then cleans the cutting deck of most grass clippings.

TEXAS recommends using 98/100 unleaded petrol (also called E5) for all our petrol engines, even if the manual specifies 95 unleaded (E10).
This recommendation is due to changes since January 1st, 2020, when 95 unleaded (E10) started containing 10% bioethanol instead of the previous 5%. The increased bioethanol content attracts condensation/water over time and shortens fuel shelf life, which can lead to poorer combustion and starting problems.
