The TEXAS XCS4500 petrol chainsaw is a semi-professional machine equipped with a powerful 45 cm3 engine, a large 18" (45 cm) guide bar and a chain speed of 23.1 m/s. This combination offers efficient cutting performance whether you're felling trees or cutting large logs. It's a robust and versatile chainsaw capable of handling a wide variety of tasks.
Weighing 6.7 kg and featuring built-in anti-vibration technology, the XCS4500 is comfortable to use for extended periods. The Japanese Walbro carburettor and 'Easy Start' system make starting the chainsaw easier by reducing the resistance of the pull cord. The guide bar and chain are high-quality from the renowned American brand Oregon.
Product details
The XCS4500 is equipped with a powerful 2-stroke engine with 1.7 kW of power. Its user-friendly design includes automatic chain lubrication and an included tool for chain tensioning.
The front handle allows for horizontal and vertical grip positions, ensuring precise control in any working position. The metal spike bumper provides stability during cutting, while the front hand guard also serves as a chain brake, instantly stopping the chain in case of kickback.
A guide bar cover is included for safe transport and storage.

TEXAS recommends using 98/100 unleaded petrol (also called E5) for all our petrol engines, even if the manual specifies 95 unleaded petrol (E10).
This recommendation is due to changes since 1st January 2020, when 95 unleaded petrol (E10) started to contain 10% bioethanol instead of the previous 5%. The increased bioethanol content attracts condensation/water over time and shortens the shelf life of the fuel, which can lead to poorer combustion and starting problems.
