Description
This TEXAS petrol pruning saw is equipped with a powerful 26 cc engine, offering sufficient power and almost unlimited mobility. The XCS2600 is a top-handle chainsaw - also known as a one-handed or top-handle saw - ideal for cutting branches and pruning in the garden.
Weighing only 3.9 kg, this compact chainsaw is equipped with a 10" (25 cm) guide bar and a specially designed low-kickback chain by Oregon, a renowned American manufacturer. Additionally, it features a high-quality carburettor from the Japanese brand Walbro, ensuring optimal performance.

The XCS2600's 2-stroke engine delivers 0.9 kW of power and reaches a chain speed of 21 m/s, allowing you to efficiently cut branches. The chainsaw includes an automatic chain lubrication system and a chain brake integrated into the front guard, which instantly stops the chain in case of kickback.
The top handle is positioned centrally above the engine, providing excellent balance. Combined with its low weight, this allows for one-handed use. However, for safety reasons, this method should only be used by experienced and trained users.
A front handle offers horizontal and vertical grip options, ensuring precise control in any working position. The metal spike bumper improves stability during sawing, making your work more efficient.
At the rear of the XCS2600, a metal eyelet allows you to attach the chainsaw to a belt for convenient transport. A guide bar cover is also included for safe transport and storage.

TEXAS recommends using 98/100 unleaded petrol (also called E5) for all our petrol engines, even if the manual specifies 95 unleaded petrol (E10).
This recommendation is due to changes since 1 January 2020, when 95 unleaded petrol (E10) started to contain 10% bioethanol instead of the previous 5%. The increased bioethanol content attracts condensation/water over time and shortens the shelf life of the fuel, which can lead to poorer combustion and starting problems.
