Description
The TEXAS TS5118 is a robust petrol chainsaw equipped with a 51.5 cc engine, delivering sufficient power to its large 18" (45 cm) TEXAS guide bar. It is designed to easily handle most sawing tasks in the garden. With a chain speed of 21 m/s, this powerful chainsaw ensures efficient cutting for tasks such as tree felling or firewood preparation.
Weighing 6.8 kg, the TS5118 is manageable during long periods and features user-friendly functionalities to simplify your work. Its carburettor includes an automatic choke for easy starting in cold weather, while the "Easy Start" system reduces resistance in the pull cord for smoother ignition.
Product Details
The TS5118 is equipped with a powerful 2-stroke engine producing 2.1 kW of power. Its design includes automatic chain lubrication, requiring only a simple chain oil fill-up before starting.
The front handle offers horizontal and vertical grip options, providing excellent control in any working position. The metal spike bumper improves stability during sawing, and the front hand guard acts as a chain brake, instantly stopping the chain in case of kickback.
A guide bar cover is included for safe transport and storage.

TEXAS recommends using 98/100 unleaded petrol (also known as E5) for all our petrol engines, even if the manual specifies 95 unleaded petrol (E10).
This recommendation is due to changes since January 1st, 2020, when 95 unleaded petrol (E10) began containing 10% bioethanol instead of the previous 5%. The increased bioethanol content attracts condensation/water over time and shortens fuel shelf life, which can lead to poorer combustion and starting problems.
